Privacy Policy
Last updated November 6, 2026
This policy explains what Ever After Marketing (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit everaftermarketing.com or get in touch with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a marketing agency for wedding businesses, and this site is meant for business owners and other adults.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, how you heard about us and your message. When you sign up for our free resources, we collect your email address, any other details the form asks for, and which resources you chose. If you email or call us, or use our accessibility report form, we receive whatever you choose to share.
Information collected only with your permission. If you allow Analytics cookies, Jetpack Stats (and Google Analytics, if we add it) records which pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and your general location based on your IP address. If you allow Marketing cookies, Google Ads conversion tracking (set up through Google Site Kit) and any similar ad tags we use, such as the Meta Pixel, measure how our ads perform. None of these load until you say yes.
Necessary technologies. Some tools run on every visit because the site needs them: Google reCAPTCHA and Akismet protect our forms from spam, a security tool protects our login page, and a small cookie remembers your privacy choice. Our host, WordPress.com (Automattic), keeps standard server logs for security and to keep the site running.
Content from other services. Our Google reviews section is delivered by Trustindex and shows review text and reviewer photos from Google, and some fonts may load from Google Fonts. These services can see your IP address and browser details when they deliver that content.
How we use information
- To answer your questions and set up consultations
- To deliver the free resources you request and send occasional marketing tips for wedding pros (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To provide and manage the services you buy from us
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, if you allow Analytics cookies
- To measure our ads, if you allow Marketing cookies
- To protect the site, prevent spam and fraud, and meet legal obligations
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as Mailchimp (Intuit) for email, Google for email, ad measurement and spam protection, Automattic for website hosting, statistics and security, and Trustindex for our reviews display. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or others’ safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising unless you allow Marketing cookies.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you choose Accept all, Reject all or Customize. Optional cookies stay off until you choose. You can change your mind anytime with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out: optional cookies are off by default and marketing cookies stay off.
We keep a record of each choice (a random ID, the choice, the date and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, never your name or email) for up to two years, so we can show your choice was respected.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries and client records for as long as we need them for our working relationship and for tax and legal requirements. We keep you on our email list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Statistics and ad measurement data are kept according to Automattic’s and Google’s retention settings, and consent records are deleted after two years.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights. Wherever you live, you can email Odelinmarketing@gmail.com with a request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 45 days. You can also have an authorized agent make a request for you.
Children’s privacy
This site and our services are for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email Odelinmarketing@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including secure (HTTPS) connections, login protection and spam filtering, to protect your information. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we’ll also post a notice on the site.
